Mediterranean Shipping (MSC) announced upgrades to 11 intra-Asia routes to further strengthen its internal network in Asia and provide more convenient direct flight services, shorten shipping times and increase capacity.This upgrade plan will take effect in June 2023, providing customers with more efficient freight services.
Here are MSC Upgrade Services and First Flight Arrangements:
Seagull - MSC SAGITTA III HU323AIt is expected to arrive in Shanghai on June 6.The route will directly connect the central region of China and Indonesia, and will connect Vietnam, Thailand and Serpentine Gate to provide competitive transport time.
Seahorse - MSC Elizabeth III HO322AThe route will connect the central China region directly with Thailand and Malaysia to provide customers with efficient transportation services.
Filed to:MSC VAIGA III HV322AThe route will increase network coverage, directly connecting the northern Chinese region with Malaysia and Indonesia, as well as Southeast Asia with South Korea and northern China.
Filed to:MSC Sophie HW322AThe upgraded route will stop for the first time in the Grand Couch Bay and provide a direct connection from Indonesia to the Philippines.

The MSC ANDREA F SB323AThe route is scheduled to arrive in the Gulf of Newark on June 6. Based on the upgrade of capacity, the route will add new ports in the Gulf of Newark.
Golden Horn - MSC KYMEA II HX323AThe route is scheduled to arrive in Bodo on June 6.The route will be directly linked to the port of Bodo, providing convenient transportation services.
The origami Continuing to connect Japan and South Korea directly with Southeast Asia, as well as the Philippines with South Korea and Japan to provide customers with a full range of transportation services.
MSC’s upgrading will further strengthen its cargo network within Asia, providing customers with more convenient direct flight services and faster shipping times, which will help meet growing freight demand and improve logistics efficiency.
